29God gave Solomon wisdom and very much understanding and a heart as broad as the sand which is on the lip of the sea.30Solomon's wisdom increased more than the wisdom of all the sons of the East and all the wisdom of Egypt.31And he was wiser than all mankind, than Ethan the Ezrahite, Heman, Calcol, and Darda, sons of Mahol, and his name was in all the nations all around.32And he spoke three thousand proverbs, and his songs were one thousand five hundred.33He spoke about the trees, from the cedar that is in Lebanon to the hyssop that comes out in the wall. He spoke about the animals and about the birds and about the swarmers and about the sea creatures.34People came from all peoples to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all the kings of the earth who had heard his wisdom.
